Charter School enrollment happens through the AACPS lottery application portal, which opens October 7th, 2024. All magnet and charter schools are listed there and you can apply to as many of them as you choose. The New Village Academy lottery window is extended to January 17th, 2025, to give families more time to learn about this new option. After the lottery is run at the end of January, you will be notified if your child has been offered a spot or has been put on the fast-moving waiting list. Once you are offered a spot, you will need to respond quickly to accept your spot at the school. After the lottery, the application window will stay open and students will be placed on our waiting list.

You will need your student’s AACPS 6-digit ID number and password.
